Renowned French DJ HUGEL unveils highly-anticipated remix of LATIN MAFIA‘s hit track ‘Patadas de Ahogado‘ featuring Humbe. With his remix, HUGEL transforms the track into a vibrant and captivating experience, offering a lush infusion of the vocal house that captivates from the outset.

HUGEL’s addition of hypnotic melodies and intricate polyrhythms complement the song’s lyrics, thus adding a dynamic arrangement. When teased on TikTok a month ago, the track quickly gained attention and has since amassed millions of views across multiple platforms.

Before HUGEL’s remix, the track was first released in November 2023. This original version gained 90 million streams and climbed the American music charts. The song’s thoughtful lyrics tell the story of a love transcending time. being able to see a future together filled with shared experiences, even in old age, symbolized by the imagery of “smoking cigarettes and watering plants.”

Originally from Marseille, HUGEL has established a sound that mixes Balearic island vibes and the Mediterranean culture in his hometown.
