Ilona Maras, a Montenegrin artist based in Switzerland, starts 2025 with a new techno EP, ‘This is Your Diss. Known for her bold and dynamic style, Ilona Maras made an impact in 2024 with music on Frankyeffe’s Riot Recordings. Her earlier work includes tracks released on Reinier Zonneveld‘s Filth on Acid.

This new EP continues her journey into peak-time techno with gritty percussion and energetic synths. DJs like Marco Faraone and Monika Kruse have already shown support for these tracks.

The EP opens with ‘No Sleep Baby, a powerful track with a driving rhythm and melodic breakdown. It’s designed to keep the dance floor moving late into the night. ‘Poisoned Wine comes next, combining acid-inspired elements with a dark groove and a vocal hook. It delivers an intense but euphoric energy, ideal for mainstage performances.

New York Undercover is a hypnotic track with deep, raw energy. Its breakdown builds tension before a strong drop, perfect for creating moodier moments. The title track, ‘This is Your Diss, closes the EP. Featuring a familiar vocal sample, it’s a trippy and rhythmic production. Its soulful energy brings a vibe similar to the works of Robert Hood or Floorplan.
