Jonas Rathsman founded the ELEMENTS movement in 2018, driven by his love of nature, worldly sounds, and a desire to present small events all around the world.
Jonas Rathsman has been expressing his creativity in a variety of ways for over a decade. From constructing a six-room studio complex in Gothenburg to performing as a DJ and producer around the world. Jonas, a graphic designer and illustrator, founded the versatile brand ELEMENTS in 2018. The label, mix series, and globe parties are still going strong four years later, split into three halves. Billboard, FACT, Mixmag, The Guardian, DJ Mag, and XLR8R are among the tastemakers who have backed the project. Jonas has performed at Coachella, Circoloco Ibiza, Watergate Berlin, and Fabric in London. Jonas has continued to work closely with One Tree Planted, and additional announcements are expected in 2022.
Jonas’ creative output has faltered in recent years due to a desire for human connection, and Heartbeat is the result of the world finally opening up. A stirring tune is created by frantic and colorful high-energy synths, solidifying 2022 as the year a master of his art returns to what he does best.
Heartbeat was an idea that I couldn’t finish,and it wasn’t until I went away for my first club show since restrictions lifted back in November that I felt the fog lift and I could find a way finish music finally! The more I reconnected with people, the more I reconnected with creativity and I didn’t realise how much I was missing that over last year.
