Sydney-based artist JVLY has released a new remix of his single “LOCUM,” reworked by Brisbane producer Lemonade Baby. The remix arrived on Jan. 20 and follows the original version, which appeared last year on JVLY’s SUNDER EP.
Born Kayle Butler, JVLY is currently preparing a full SUNDER remix album. The project previously featured a reinterpretation of “DROWNING IN MY ROOM” by French producer Contrecoeur, with three additional remixes scheduled for release later this year.

Lemonade Baby, who began producing music in his early teens, cites early exposure to electronic music as a turning point in his creative path. Influenced by acts such as PNAU and deadmau5, his sound blends melodic sensibilities with club-leaning production.
Speaking about the remix, Lemonade Baby explained: “The original is a slow, 6/4 R&B ballad, so I reimagined it as a fast, melancholic electronic track, reshaping its emotional core while keeping its spirit intact.”
Looking ahead, the producer added that he is currently working on a broader body of material, including new collaborations and standalone releases, with more music planned throughout the year.
