Australian artist and producer JVLY continues building anticipation for his upcoming SUNDERLUXE EP with a new remix of “WALKED THE SUN” from Berlin-based producer dj poolboi. The rework arrived April 30 alongside the original version.
Now based in Brisbane, JVLY has continued building momentum following the release of his five-track SUNDER EP earlier this year. The project has since received a series of reinterpretations from artists including Contrecoeur, Lemonade Baby, Mel Blue, and now dj poolboi.

For the remix, dj poolboi reshapes the original with newly introduced melodic chords, a deeper kick drum, and a steady groove, while adding a subtle nu-disco bassline underneath vocals. While the original leaned into a slower and more reflective tempo, the remix shifts toward a more forward-moving and laidback atmosphere.
Speaking about the collaboration, JVLY said: “I’ve been a fan of dj poolboi for a long time, so having him rework WALKED THE SUN was super special. He has a way of making songs feel cinematic, kind of like they’re tied to a memory you can’t quite place, and that dreamlike feeling was perfect for this one.”
