Italy’s duo Piccillo and Alessandro Falcioni, known as K LSY, just dropped a three-track EP called Ranin All Over the World. Released via Mantide Records, it’s their first release of the year.
K LSY are two friends from the east coast of Italy. They’ve known each other since primary school, and their friendship has always been connected to music.
The turning point came when they were 19, after a tour in England with their band. That trip opened their eyes to new sounds and ideas.
When they returned, they felt inspired to try something different — more electronic and modern. That’s when they started making music with synthesizers and samplers. In the beginning, they looked up to Daft Punk, learning how to shape their sound by studying the duo’s style.
This EP brings together three tracks, each made at a different time, each with its own story.
The duo says:
“Kill Em All was written back in 2023, and it quickly became a big part of our DJ and live sets. It’s one of those high-energy tracks that hits with the crowd. We waited to release it until it felt right — and this EP was the right place for it.
Ylrx is a new version of a track we first released in 2021. We thought it still had more to say, so we gave it a fresh twist.
Ranin, on the other hand, just happened. One of those random nights where we sat down, started messing around, and everything just came together. We finished it in one evening, about two months ago.”
The whole EP is full of energy — perfect for outdoor parties, Ibiza terraces, and big festival stages.
