American DJ Kaskade starts the rollout for his latest EP with a beautiful new single ‘Save Me’.

With a list of accomplishments a mile long, Kaskade‘s level of popularity shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone really. Over the past nearly 30 years he’s been a DJ, Kaskade made history numerous times throughout his course of music. Kaskade released 12 studio albums, headlined Coachella, secured a Las Vegas residency, and sold out Navy Pier and The Staples Center. On top of all that, artists like Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, and Alicia Keys collaborated and released music with him. Now, ahead of his upcoming REDUX 006 EP, Kaskade released the lead single titled ‘Save Me‘ to start the rollout.

‘Save Me’, as a single, lends itself to be quite dreamy and light, yet somber and bit melancholic too. Beats shuffle and waver all over the three-and-a-half minute track, keeping a rather tribal-like pattern to them. Synths throughout the track lean more to the ethereal or esoteric side with a subtle bass groove along the way. Lastly, Lauren L’aimant‘ rich and velvety vocals provide the somber mood the track provokes, feeling almost like a desperate prayer. Overall, Kaskade produced a gorgeous single bound to hype up his fans for his upcoming new EP and shed tears.
