Grammy-nominated producer Kaskade and artist Emmit Fenn team up for an interesting single ‘Brighter’ coming off the former’s new EP.
7-time Grammy-nominated artist and producer Kaskade just released his latest EP, ‘REDUX 006’, this week, a highly anticipated release. REDUX 006 primarily consists of 7 of Kaskade’s signature deep House-styled tracks, all while introducing other elements as well. For years, Kaskade gave fans and audiences different variations of the REDUX series, making them a fan-favorite discography addition. So when fans heard there was going to be a number 6, naturally they had every reason to get excited. However, one track in particular stands out in the track listing, with that being ‘Brighter‘, a collaboration with Emmit Fenn.
‘Brighter’ obtains quite an interesting approach to Kaskade’s usual formula, as there’s more organic instruments blended with programmed ones. Droning synths and various percussion samples lace together all throughout the track, still maintaining the usual House elements and such. However, orchestral arrangements and live drums also get added to the mix, making it feel like a live concert too. On top of that, Fenn’s vocals give off a bit of a haunting or Gothic vibe, cooling down the tone. Overall, ‘Brighter’ shows what happens when two talented people come together and make something absolutely spectacular and worth every second.
