Based in South Asia with Slavic roots, producer Konstantin Kobra makes his debut on the UK’s Famous When Dead Records with “Love Story.” Out now, the single marks the label’s third release.
Konstantin’s passion for music began at a young age. Back then, he was focused on playing everywhere—from small bars to big clubs—as a local resident and touring DJ. Eventually, he decided to take a bigger step and produce his own music under various aliases.
However, he wasn’t satisfied with the results. “The sound I was making didn’t really align — it felt like two separate worlds,” he admits.
After a long hiatus, Konstantin made a conscious decision to fully focus on music production. At the beginning of 2025, he officially returned to the scene as Konstantin Kobra, releasing his latest work.
“Love Story” is a smooth, deep house track with a punchy 909 kickdrum, subtle bass groove, mesmerizing pads, and the enchanting vocals of Tiana. Speaking about their collaboration, Konstantin shared:
“I first heard her perform at a jazz festival here on the island and instantly fell in love with her voice. About a week later, we ended up recording a few tracks together at my studio.”
As for Konstantin himself, he prefers to remain “faceless.” “A little mystery never hurts,” he says.
