2025 marches on with exciting new EP and album releases. Renowned American pop star Lady Gaga has just announced her latest album, ‘Mayhem,’ set for release on March 7th this year.
‘Mayhem’ will be released under Streamline and Interscope Records, marking Gaga’s 7th studio album. Her previous release, ‘Harlequin,’ served as a companion album for the movie Joker: Folie à Deux, in which she also played a key role.
Gaga first spoke about the conception of ‘Mayhem’ in the spring of 2024. She also teased fans by performing snippets of two unreleased songs from the album during the opening of the Paris Olympics 2024.
The highly anticipated cover art for ‘Mayhem’ was revealed on January 27, 2025. The album was recorded at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La studio in Malibu, California.

In 2024, Gaga released two singles: the lead single, ‘Disease,’ and ‘Die with a Smile,’ which featured Bruno Mars. Both tracks will be included on ‘Mayhem.’
Gaga has shared that the album will explore themes of chaos and transformation, reflecting a deeper self-awareness and personal growth. She emphasized that she felt more clear about herself than ever and believes she wrote her best songs for this project.
“The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” said Gaga
‘Mayhem’ will be a collaborative effort with producer Andrew Watt, songwriter Cirkut, and French DJ Gesaffelstein.
