Australian singer, producer, and songwriter Le Cruize has released his debut solo single, “Sweet Day,” marking a new creative chapter for the Sydney-based artist.

Le Cruize is the solo project of Oliver Dela Cruz, best known as one-half of electronic duo Midnight Pool Party. While continuing his work with the group, the new project allows him to explore a more personal and introspective side of his songwriting.

“Sweet Day” blends disco influences with warm instrumentation, opening with filtered piano chords and soulful vocals before introducing crisp percussion, grooving basslines, and uplifting rhythms. The track balances dancefloor energy with an emotional core, reflecting the project’s more vulnerable approach.

“This song is about seizing the moment, because life moves too fast not to take chances, especially when it comes to love,” Dela Cruz said.

The single serves as the first glimpse into Le Cruize’s solo identity, introducing a sound that draws from his dance music roots while expanding into more personal territory.
