London-based producer and DJ Lloyd Barwood debuts on Yulia Nikos label AXEPT with “Praying To The Moon.” This single marks his fifth release this year.

Lloyd Barwood only started producing in 2022, but he’s already landed releases on prestigious labels like Capital Heaven, IDYLIA, and INU Musika, with more in the pipeline. His musical journey began early—whether playing guitar in a band with his brother or grinding through classical and jazz grades on saxophone and clarinet, music was always part of the picture.

The British artist has since performed at renowned venues like Forum Club and Extrema Outdoor in Belgium.

“Praying To The Moon” opens with a pulsing bassline, slick drums, and delayed synths. It slowly builds into an infectious dancefloor track, blending magnetic vocals with sweeping classical strings.

Lloyd shares: “The idea behind ‘Praying to the Moon’ was to produce a record that would work on the big stage—an anthem of sorts. It all started with the classical strings, which for me are the focal point of the record. The rest of the elements were composed to elevate and empower the strings.”

It’s the kind of track other producers might be jealous of. Praying To The Moon was handpicked as the soundtrack for the UEFA Champions League campaign. “When the opportunity first came about, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was. It felt too good to be true this early in my career as it was the break I’d been hoping for as an artist, and ironically, it was,” Lloyd adds.

Believe it or not, Lloyd’s music is awe-inspiring. With just three years of experience, he’s already making a significant impact on the industry, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him.
