International DJ Sam Blacky has teamed up with the dynamic producer duo Local Singles for their latest track, ‘Hotsteppa,’ now available on Spinnin’ Deep.

This new single ‘Hotsteppa‘ by Sam Blacky and Local Singles showcases a tribal Afrohouse influence, blending rhythmic beats with an infectious melody. Local Singles bring their signature euphoric sound, creating a tune that instantly hooks listeners. Sam Blacky‘s passion for global sounds shines through, combining deep bass and tribal instruments with captivating vocals.

‘Hotsteppa’ is a track that transports you to exotic locales, evoking the feeling of dancing in a jungle or under the desert sky until sunrise. Its unique sound has already caught the attention of big names in the music industry, with Diplo and Francis Mercier playing it at Burning Man and Tom & Collins featuring it in their Tulum sets. The song’s infectious groove and captivating energy make it a standout addition to any playlist.

This collaboration comes on the heels of other successful releases from both artists. Local Singles recently dropped ‘Fever‘ on BLOND: ISH’s label, while Sam Blacky released ‘Ronaldinho‘ with Niniola. With ‘Hotsteppa,’ they continue to push musical boundaries, offering a fresh and exciting track that’s set to be a summer hit.

Speaking about the release, Sam Blacky says,

I went to see Keinemusik for my birthday at the Brooklyn Mirage, who has been one of my favorite artists for years.  I didn’t run into the Local Singles boys, but found out later they were right next to me in the crowd the entire time. We laughed so hard when we saw each other’s stories, and I couldn’t believe we missed each other that night. We have always been friends and supportive of each other, so we decided we had to collaborate soon to memorize that funny moment and show our love of the tribal and Afrohouse sound, and this is how ‘Hotsteppa‘ was born.

Local Singles adds,

Big up di crew ini di area. Getting ‘Hotsteppa‘ out was a labor of love. From finding the right collaborator in Sam Blacky, to finding the right vocalist, and last but not least, finding the right label in Spinnin’ Deep. It’s taken over a year, but we can finally say… here comes the ‘Hotsteppa.’ It’s like when they say the name of the movie in the movie, but with the song title, haha.
