Dutch producer and DJ M-High has released his new single “Taking Time,” out today via DJ Tennis’ Life and Death imprint. The track serves as the first release from his forthcoming four-track EP Dark Web Pinger, set to arrive April 10.
Originally emerging as a producer before stepping into the DJ spotlight, M-High has quickly built momentum on the global circuit, performing alongside names such as Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, and Armand Van Helden.

The release also reflects M-High’s admiration for DJ Tennis’ approach to music and curation. Drawing inspiration from the label’s philosophy, where emotional depth and club functionality coexist, he channels that balance into his own productions, aiming to create music that feels cohesive yet versatile.
Expanding on that vision, he notes that “one record can be deep and emotional, the next one raw and club-focused, but it still feels like it belongs to the same world.”
“Taking Time” is built around a punchy, woody kick drum, crisp claps, and electro-leaning synth work layered with hip-hop vocal elements. As the track develops, retro-inspired synths and bleeps are gradually introduced, adding momentum and texture to the groove.
Sharing his excitement around the release, M-High expressed gratitude to DJ Tennis for supporting the EP, calling the moment of finally releasing the project especially rewarding.
