Towards Myself is an exploration of what has crystallised at the very bottom of Manuel Meyers soul as a producer. The track has the calm yet compelling vibe of someone who no longer has to prove himself – in other words, it’s a very personal and emotional affair. On the surface there’s the principles of organic, melodic and trance transcribed into groove, but underneath this synthesised symphonie goes much deeper and far beyond the scope of words. The Remix of Stil & Bense sprouts colourful fractals, Miyagi tickles an extra pinch of pressurised excess out of his drum computers. Finally, the title When All Bad Becomes Good gives us a broad hint of what Manuel Meyer learned from that journey to the bottom of his soul. Here the extraordinary musical and subtle arrangement meets even slightly higher readings on the boost scale.
