The new year is bringing fresh excitement for dance and electronic music fans. Dutch sensation Martin Garrix, one of the genre’s most iconic DJs and producers, is set to electrify the UK with a massive outdoor show in London. Scheduled for 16 August 2025 at Gunnersbury Park, this highly anticipated performance marks Garrix’s biggest UK headline show in half a decade.

Known for his dynamic stage presence and genre-defining hits, Garrix has been a dominant force in the electronic music scene since his 2012 debut. Discovered by the legendary Tiësto, his breakthrough came with the release of ‘Error 404‘ on Spinnin’ Records. Global stardom followed in 2016 with his chart-topping anthem Animals,‘ which has amassed over 1.7 billion views on YouTube as of 2024.

Last month, Garrix treated fans to Told You So,‘ a collaborative single with rising artist Jex, further cementing his reputation for blending innovative beats with infectious melodies. The announcement of the London show by Martin Garrix on 3 December has already sent waves of excitement through the UK fanbase.

The Gunnersbury Park gig is shaping up to be a monumental event, featuring not just Garrix but also a lineup of other acclaimed acts, including Khruangbin, The Libertines, and Pawsa. With such a star-studded roster, 2025’s summer festival season is already off to a promising start.

Over the years, Martin Garrix has headlined prestigious festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, and Coachella. His electrifying performances have also graced global events like the F1 Singapore Grand Prix and UEFA Euro 2020. Accolades include two consecutive MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Electronic Artist in 2015 and 2016, as well as the Best Breakthrough DJ Award from the International Dance Music Awards in 2014.
