Australian duo Midnight Pool Party have released their new disco single “NOTICE ME,” out Wednesday, March 13. The track marks their first release of the year following a five-month break.
Written at the end of last year, the song began taking shape during a brief hiatus, evolving into an exploration of the feeling of being overlooked. The duo explain that the lyrics focus on the emotional complexity of not being noticed and the effort it takes to hide that vulnerability.

“Love is universal, but so is the experience of not being noticed, and hiding how deeply it affects you,”
While the production leans into their signature shimmering disco sound, the track carries a deeper emotional core. “NOTICE ME” balances an infectious groove with lyrical tension, reflecting the contrast between maintaining composure and craving recognition.
The single features a funky bassline, sharp guitar-inspired synth elements, rhythmic drums, and the distinctive vocals of singer Darren Morilla, blending disco energy with introspective songwriting.
