Indian producer Migrant shares his latest release, “Suppressed,” out now via Belong Records. The single, which arrived last Friday (Nov. 28), follows his previous track “Anahata.”
Last year, the young producer confronted his fear of being on camera — something he says “made me do less of what I wish to do.” After overcoming it, he began building his studio setup and further honing his production skills.
“Suppressed” features a vocal reimagined from Blackstreet’s “Physical Thing” and blends elements of UK bass and rave into a darker, charged atmosphere.
“This track came from a place of tension,” Migrant says. “I wanted to capture that feeling of something powerful trying to break through — emotion, memory, energy — all the things we keep buried.”
