Summer calls for fresh electro releases, and Germany’s electronic dance music luminaries Monolink and Sam Shure deliver with “Your River,” a new electronic ambient track on Cercle Records.
Monolink has been a standout figure in the electronic scene since his musical debut in 2012 with the mix “Sunset” on SoundCloud. Earlier this year, on May 29, he released Avalanche before joining forces with Sam Shure.
Released on June 19, “Your River” follows Monolink’s recent performance in the Cercle Odyssey series. It marks their second collaboration—Shure’s 2022 remix of Monolink’s “Reflection” tracks earned critical acclaim and has already been showcased in both artists’ live sets in Mexico and at Cercle Odyssey in Paris.
The track pairs Monolink’s dreamy, breathy vocals with Shure’s intricate sound design. Richly layered, it deepens the ambient atmosphere, offering a well-balanced blend of electronic elements. An extended version further highlights Shure’s creative rhythms, adding new dimensions to the single.
Monolink continues to establish himself as one of Germany’s leading electronic artists, having collaborated with pioneers like Martin Gretschmann, Ben Böhmer, and NTO. After performing at Coachella 2023, he’s set to appear at Budapest Park x Citimatiné and Barcelona’s Brunch Elektronik Festival this summer.
Sam Shure, known for his distinct sonic palette and past collaborations with Bora Uzer and Deer Jade, will bring his vibrant sound to WooMooN in Ibiza this September.
