British producer and DJ Farah Nanji, known by her artist name N1NJA, recently released her single “The Vibe” in collaboration with house music icon MR.V. Out now via Mobilee Records, the track dropped on Friday, July 25.
N1NJA is not only making waves in the studio; she’s also the host of Mission Makers, a standout interview series available on her YouTube channel. Beyond that, she curates for the International Music Summit (IMS), further cementing her role as a tastemaker in the global music scene.
N1NJA describes her sound as “Ancestral, nomadic, hypnotic.” She explains, “My sound is a portal through cultures, frequencies, and emotions—designed to entrance listeners into a deeper state of presence.”
Her collaboration with MR.V wasn’t just a random link-up—it was born out of intention. Farah approached MR.V’s team with a clear vision, one that resonated with him instantly. As a longtime admirer of his work, this was a full-circle moment for her. “His iconic track ‘Jus Dance’ was one of those records that shaped my early understanding of house music and the groove,” she says.
On the deeper message behind the track, N1NJA shares:
Absolutely. I’ve always aimed to create music with longevity—something that carries a deeper message. Over time, I became increasingly disturbed by how phones were taking over the dancefloor, especially at shows like Afterlife and Keinemusik.

It wasn’t just a personal observation; across the industry, there was a growing sense that the essence and vibe were being diluted, especially for a new generation of dance music fans. That sparked the idea to write lyrics that push back against that trend—a reminder that presence is more powerful than proof, and that house music was born from raw connection, not content capture.
“The Vibe” opens with a punchy kick drum and infectious vocal hooks that says, “The bass drops, and the world outside fades. House music acts like a guide—see, it doesn’t require you to follow a specific path.” Layered with organic percussion and uplifting chords, the track gradually evolves into a euphoric space, driven by melodic arpeggios. It maintains high energy while staying rooted in groove and intention.
