The Italian DJ and producer Niki Muxx releases a new tune perfect for the bedroom as well as the club ‘Existence’.

If there’s any DJ deserving of the term “Prodigy”, without a shadow of a doubt, it’s Niki Muxx. A 20+ year veteran of the club scene, Niki started DJing at the age of 12 and continued growing since. As the 90s rolled in, he started getting immersed in Italy’s club scene, where he continued to flex his chops. Soon after, Sottovento Club in Porto Cervo got in touch with him about obtaining a residency, which he gladly accepted. After over ten years, Niki decided to look for some new crowds, which he found at Phi Beach in Sardinia.

Over the course of his career, Niki has developed a sound that has helped build his name to high acclaim. This includes a mix of funky, Deep, and Tribal House that glitters as much as the clubs they play in. Niki has also thrown himself into numerous collaborations as well like Solomun, Claptone, and Supernova to name a few. ‘Existence‘, his latest release, adds Nina Deiana to that ever growing list, providing her soothing vocals for his mellow music. The tune itself is quite a sultry one, with Tribal-like percussion and a rather minimalist beat that surprisingly actually works. Synths proceed to blend flawlessly with the percussion, ranging from bendy melodic to ambient in the background, creating elegant atmospheres. Deiana’s aforementioned vocals have a very sultry vibe to them, helping make this track suitable for intimate nights as well.

Niki Muxx has more than earned the acclaim he’s garnered over the 20+ years he’s been DJing. His most recent track is certainly proof of that. If he keeps making tracks like it, I don’t see how he couldn’t go another 20 years.
