DIY music and arts platform Parallel Society has announced its 2026 edition, set to take place in Lisbon, Portugal, at Warehouse ONE16. The two-day event will feature two stages: The Terminal as the main stage and The Lab stage.
Day 1, March 6, is dedicated to collaborative research, experimentation, and knowledge exchange through the platform’s (un)conference. Attendees can participate in workshops, discussion circles, protocol labs, hackspaces, co-design sprints, and hands-on sessions across thematic zones focused on decentralization, privacy, open-source culture, community autonomy, and tooling stewardship.

Day 2, March 7, shifts into a community-focused cultural celebration, spotlighting a mix of international and Lisbon-based artists across club, live experimental, and performance-driven music.
The lineup includes DJ Stingray 313, Los Bitchos, Calibre, Kode9, Gayance, Kokeshi, Maria Amor & Shcuro ϙue, equii & Olena Bublyk, SoundPreta, Violet, and many more.
Live performances will come from Apparat, Clark, and Moses Boyd, alongside a back-to-back set from Gilles Peterson and MC Rob Galliano, plus an audiovisual performance by Collective Unconscious.
Beyond music, the event continues to explore the intersection of civic technology, decentralized systems, and experimental culture, bringing together hacktivists, technologists, researchers, and activists.
More than 60 percent of the lineup is sourced from Lisbon-based talent, reinforcing Parallel Society’s commitment to supporting Portugal’s underground scene while connecting it with global innovators. The platform remains independently organized, not-for-profit, and collectively curated.
Louisa Haining, Curation Director, said: “Parallel Society is about building practical alternatives for how culture operates. From the (un)conference to the live programme, we’re bringing together underground artists, open-call projects, and local voices to test new models of collaboration and production.”
