Paul van Dyk, the legendary producer behind the timeless classic “For an Angel,” surprises fans with a brand-new collaboration alongside London-based duo Fuenka. Their latest single, “Seven Seas,” marks their second joint effort following “Artefact.”
Unlike “Artefact,” Seven Seas will be featured on Paul’s upcoming album This World Is Ours, set to drop this March.
The track starts with a contagious arpeggio that grabs your attention from the first second, unfolding into progressive house vibes and a cinematic breakdown.
The “Seven Seas / The Poem” vocal that appears in the breakdown is AI-generated, and according to the press release, it explores “the positive and negative aspects of AI.”
Paul shares his thoughts on the track:
“Working with Fuenka on ‘Seven Seas’ has been an inspiring process. We aimed to create something that captured the power and beauty of nature, and the ocean felt like the perfect metaphor for this journey. The track balances intensity with moments of stillness, capturing the mystery and emotion of the sea.”
To celebrate the album announcement, Paul van Dyk will take the stage this Saturday (Mar. 1) at ZEROTOKYO club in Tokyo. He previously performed at The Portal inside AREA15 in Las Vegas last Friday (Feb. 21), followed by a set at TIME Nightclub in Costa Mesa, California, on Saturday (Feb. 22).
