Corsican-born producer and live performer PETRU KSS has announced his debut album Kolibri Live, set for release on Friday, March 6. Conceived as a cinematic and immersive journey from nature to space, the album was recorded live in the wilderness of Corsica.
The project will feature eleven original tracks alongside a wide-ranging remix collection from An On Bast, Andrømeda, Arnaud Le Texier, Black Lotus, Diego Montiel, DJ T-1000, Dubfire, Hannes Bieger, Joton, Kaiser, Ross Harper, Ryan Davis, Saytek, Tobias., and .VRIL.

PETRU KSS is the recipient of the Richie Hawtin PhD Scholarship, awarded for his ongoing research project THRiPPS. His sound blends deep, cinematic atmospheres with analog textures and highly detailed sound design, bridging live performance and studio precision.
The first fragments of Kolibri Live began surfacing in 2025 with tracks including “Genesis” and “Trieuoppa,” accompanied by remixes from Ryan Davis and An On Bast. These were followed by “Ordellion” and “Landing,” alongside reinterpretations by Arnaud Le Texier, Joton, and Tobias.
More recent additions include “Capsule” and “Trappist,” joined by .VRIL remix and a newly released Dubfire rework.
Dubfire’s remix pushes “Trappist” into a darker, more futuristic space, driven by faster-paced rhythms, shuffling hi-hats, and sharp saw synths that evoke a sense of movement through a shadowy, otherworldly environment.
“My remix leans into that hypnotic ascent with a darker, more precise techno edge — sharp focus, tension, and forward motion,” Dubfire said.
Last year, PETRU KSS also announced a global remix contest for Kolibri Live, with prizes provided by Novation, Dreadbox, Genki Instruments, Audiorealism, and Sugar Bytes. Selected entries from the contest will also appear on the album.
