The Florida DJ PLS&TY calls on the Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Samama for a bright, club-ready banger ‘Upside’.

PLS&TY continues to prove just how much of a musical genius he can truly be. The Floridian DJ, real name Tommy Leas, seems to be quite the busy bee across his short six year career. From releasing countless charting singles that amassed over 100M overall streams to festival spots at Breakaway and more, PLS&TY’s stacked. The first three years of the decade saw the DJ dabble in the world of NFTs as well as music. Celebs like Tony Hawk, Floyd Mayweather, and countless members of the US Congress sought him out for his visual work.

Now recently, PLS&TY dropped a new single, ‘Upside’, in high anticipation of his upcoming EP ‘3 Days, 2 Nights’. To help add a little extra vibe to the track, he called upon Grammy-nominated LA singer-songwriter Ben Samama for assistance. ‘Upside’ starts off with a minimalistic bassline present throughout the track, followed by brassy synths and scratchy percussion soon after. Subtle atmospheric synths linger in the background while bombastic, bassy synths that almost feels like ad libs remain more upfront. As the cherry on top, Samama’s hazy vocals have a laid back vibe that keeps the track from feeling chaotic.

PLS&TY once again strikes gold on this latest single, making the anticipation for his upcoming EP rise more than ever. So, with a courteous “please”, I highly suggest you check out this single and watch out for the EP. Thank you.
