Edgar Armendáriz launched his solo project Armendariz in 2021. He had been producing music since 2020, but it wasn’t until the following year that his moniker was born, when he began taking things more seriously and treating music as a professional pursuit.

That same year, he enrolled in production, mixing, and mastering courses at Soundspace Academy and made great use of the producciononline.com platform. He also had the opportunity to take private lessons with his good friend and producer, Ben Zaá, who helped him master the Maschine workflow and refine other key aspects of music production.

“Thanks to that whole process and the guidance of key people, my approach completely changed, and I finally found my sound. Since then, I haven’t stopped,” he shares.

Talking about the new release, Armendariz shares how the collaboration first started with Hearsoul. He played the project for him, and Hearsoul immediately loved the idea and energy. From there, they brought it to Hornelas. The three of them worked on the track “Digital Acid,” each bringing their flavor and experience to the table.

“Digital Acid” is an infectious indie dance floor weapon—made to move you. It’s got everything: a rolling bassline, disco-tinged synths, dreamy vocals, and sweeping effects.
