Netherlands-based producer and DJ Jochem Hamerling debuts on British imprint Renaissance with his four-track EP Red Eye, due this Friday, February 27. Today, we are premiering one of its highlights, “Centurion,” offering an exclusive first listen below.
Hamerling has built an extensive catalog with releases on respected labels such as Truesoul, Armada Music, Days Like Nights, and Adesso Music, among others. His productions have earned support from artists including Hernan Cattaneo, Marco Carola, and Armin van Buuren.
“Centurion” explores a stripped-back, minimal deep aesthetic, driven by tight rhythms and subtle tension. A short, decaying bassline anchors the groove, while a vigorous chord-led synth and crisp, punchy drums give the track a focused, late-night edge built for immersive dance floors.
“Red Eye” EP is out this Friday, February 27. Pre-order the release here, and enjoy an exclusive first listen below.
