Buenos Aires-based DJ and producer Marcos Fornari is set to make his debut on PURRFECTION with his new Blue Dreams EP. The release features two original tracks, “Blue Dreams” and “Paranoid,” alongside remixes from Luciano Ficarra and Ignacio Hernández. Today, we are premiering one of its highlights, “Blue Dreams,” offering an exclusive first listen below.
Fornari is known for his atmospheric and emotional interpretation of progressive house, combining immersive textures, deep grooves, and carefully developed arrangements. In 2025, he released “Timing” on The Soundgarden, Nick Warren’s label, while also developing Alcyon, a podcast focused on atmospheric and melodic sounds.
“Blue Dreams” takes a stripped-back approach to progressive house, opening with a slow-paced beat, pulsating sine wave, organic drums, and subtle textural elements. One-shot synths gradually enter the arrangement before filters begin to shape the melodic layers, with a progressive bassline adding further movement as the track develops. The result is a patient and immersive production that lets its atmosphere unfold naturally.
