R3HAB & Afrojack team up for a new collaborative gem ‘Shockwave’

The legendary Dutch producers R3HAB and Afrojack, who have been friends for a long time, have collaborated on a new song called ‘Shockwave,’ their second festival hit after the smash hit and Tomorrowland anthem ‘Worlds On Fire,’ which features Au/Ra.

It highlights both R3HAB and Afrojack’s distinctive styles while yet sticking out among the sea of other mainstage songs thanks to its distinct big-room, house, and bass sound characteristics. The dancefloor-friendly bass, powerful drop, and stabbing synthesizers in ‘Shockwave’ make it a surefire crowd-pleaser from these two heavyweights. R3HAB and Afrojack have collaborated on music production, remixing, and back-to-back performances at some of the largest festivals in the world during the past ten years. They have formed a close friendship throughout this time.

Afrojack and I have worked together for over ten years, and this last year has been the best yet. We released our anthem “Worlds On Fire,” remixed each other’s records, and played B2B sets at the world’s biggest festivals. We’re excited to start 2023 with “Shockwave,” which is unlike any record we’ve worked on yet. It’s been a staple in our sets as we’ve developed it, and it’s finally ready for its official debut. Each year keeps getting better, and we can’t wait to see what this one has in store.
