‘Perception’ comes as the first track for Ramea, released under the skillful Vintage Music Label.

Istanbul-based artist Ramea is set to release ‘Perceptions‘ on Saturday the 19th of August 2023. It comes as his first single under this stage name, but not his first steps in music. Ramea has been an electronic dance music DJ since he was a boy. This was revealed in a recent interview via the record company Vintage Music. Ramea remarked that he “started experimenting with recording mixings in [his] childhood” and since then his love for music has been ever-growing as he came to discover the wonders and depth of the techno and hypnotic world. The interview reveals Ramea’s personality as deeply as his music does, emotional exposure seems to be what will reel listeners in with Ramea’s music.

‘Perceptions’ is a personal track that displays different emotions felt in different walks of life and the pulsating beat illustrates how Ramea feels with his lifestyle. The song is in different sections and keeps it interesting as it initially begins with a 2000s-esque tone but then gradually becomes more and more sonic, showcasing Ramea’s creativity. The different sections of the song are connected with experimental synth undertones that highlight how Ramea has mastered the art of seamless music blends and bridges.  When promoting the single, Vintage Music Label called the track “a tantalising blend of experimental waves, hypnotic melodies, and techno magic that will have you hooked from the first beat!” and throughout the song, it becomes more clear the hypnotic theme that Ramea was aiming for as each melodic line is laced with mesmerism and a captivating aura.

The song brilliantly fades out in the decrescendo traditional manner. This works so well for ‘Perceptions’ as each section of it breaks the conventions of its musical genre but then returns to the comfort of a traditional form. Overall, Ramea has made an excellent well rounded track that will create some waves for both his career, and the music scene.
