Westbam, Dr. Motte & Tom Wax present ‘Love is Stronger’ for ‘Rave The Planet’ Parade 2024, in Berlin

Set to take over Berlin on August 17, 2024, the ‘Rave The Planet’ Parade is more than just an event. It’s a massive celebration of techno culture that honors the roots of the rave movement while showcasing its global evolution and influence. Last year, over 300,000 ravers filled the streets, and this year promises to be even bigger.

Iconic Artists for Pounding Anthems

The official anthem for this year’s parade is a powerhouse collaboration between three legendary figures in the techno scene: Dr. Motte, Westbam, and Tom Wax. Berlin-based Westbam is known for his innovative production techniques, unforgettable live performances, and collaborations. Dr. Motte is the visionary behind the iconic Berlin Love Parade. Additionally, Tom Wax, a renowned Techno DJ for over 30 years, has significantly impacted the genre. These icons bring their unique expertise and passion for techno, creating something truly special and embodying the unifying power of music.

Rave The Planet Hymn – Two Visions, One Passion

For the first time in the young parade’s history, this year’s anthem features not one but two thrilling versions. Emerging from the joint studio sessions between the artists mentioned before, these tracks developed into distinct paths. Each reflects the personal style and vision of its creators. The Dr. Motte & Tom Wax mix delivers powerful spoken word elements, expansive pads, and a fast-paced 137 BPM techno kick drum. The second, Westbam/ML interpretation, shines with catchy arpeggios, old-school beats, and soulful vocals, offering a fresh yet nostalgic vibe.

Rave The Planet – Love is Stronger: Non-Profit Goals

All proceeds from the sales and streams of this release will support Rave The Planet’s non-profit goals. These include safeguarding techno culture as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage (recently recognized) and preserving the spirit of the Berlin Love Parade through the annual Rave The Planet demonstration in Berlin. Join this massive celebration of Techno culture and be part of a movement that honors its rich history while looking forward to an electrifying future!
