Sam Divine, the UK House music producer & DJ, ushers in the summer with a daytime roof garden party at XOYO Birmingham.

Sam Divine, Ibiza superstar and First Lady of Defected Records has been at the forefront of the UK House scene for over a decade. The KISS FM radio presenter is also the founder of the highly successful imprint DVINE Sounds, which has launched over 100 releases and helped propel the careers of many emerging talents. To top it all off, Divine’s philanthropic efforts through D-Vita, has raised over £50,000 for Breast Cancer Research.

The May Bank Holiday special appropriately titled ‘Divine By Day’ features Marc Spence, Danny Kane, Orio (Alt Soph B2B Shelby), Alex White, and Nina Mckendrick in its impressive lineup. Partygoers get to enjoy soulful house music in a venue with beautiful city skyline views as the sun sets.

Defected Records will also represent Birmingham-born and bred Mark Spence and Danny Kaye, who perform together as Jakkin Rabbit. Prominent House labels like Jamie JonesHot Creations, Jonny White‘s No19, and Low Steppa‘s Simma Black have signed the duo. Spence holds ownership of the #1 Beatport Tech House track ‘Nasty,’ and Kane has made a name for himself by remixing tracks for legends like Chaka Khan and Tom Findlay.

The rest of the lineup features local talents like Alt Soph, Shelby, XOYO residents Alex White and Nina Mckendrick and a debut appearance from Orio.

XOYO Birmingham since its inception in September of 2023 has quickly carved a niche for itself as one of Birmingham’s finest clubs. The club comprises five distinct venues and can house nearly 3,000 partygoers and offers an unparalleled clubbing experience that is truly one of its kind in the West Midlands.
