The Argentinian DJ and producer Santiago Garcia launches his debut record label, S/GNATURE, alongside the release of a meaningful new single.
Already known as a respected artist, Santiago Garcia has embarked on a new endeavor, sharing his debut record label, S/GNATURE. To further celebrate, he shared the label’s inaugural release, titled ‘Mundo Interior‘ featuring G.Zamora. The track highlights Garcia’s distinctive style and sonic exploration, while also showcasing his musical versatility as a producer and setting the tone for the label. Behind the meaningful and love-filled lyrics, the track features a thoughtful mix of intricate polyrhythms, parred-down arpeggios, and passionate vocals.
S/GNATURE has a mission to share a consistent stream of top-quality releases that are set to be driven by his diverse musical influences and unique artistic vision. The labels’ launch for Garcia follows a culmination of years of preparation and a renewed passion for music.
“I am setting up S/GNATURE as a platform to showcase my work and artistic concerns; a space where I can collaborate with the artists I admire, to explore unique collaborative creations,” Garcia stated. “The first release on the label is ‘Mundo Interior’, alongside my good friend G.Zamora. It’s a complex and unique percussive work, not intended for dancing but to be appreciated and enjoyed for its unconventional rhythm. It provides an organic sound and profoundly meaningful lyrics about love and the importance of expressing ourselves before departing from this world”.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Garcia has been known internationally for 20 years in the deep house and melodic techno scenes. With the launch of S/GNATURE, Garcia has set himself up for success to leave a lasting legacy in the ever-changing electronic music scene.
