One of the first UK festivals to utilize NFT technology widely for thousands of attendees to experience was Lost Village.

In order to implement NFT technology at the festival, Lost Village and SeatlabNFT collaborated. It was a huge success; thousands of people had the opportunity to experience an NFT festival for the first time thanks to the SeatlabNFT app, which has been downloaded over 4,500 times on iOS and Android devices. In collaboration with Lost Village, the rapidly expanding NFT event ticketing firm SeatlabNFT developed a ground-breaking immersive NFT festival experience that gave spectators a preview of what festivals of the future will entail using their next-generation event ticketing system.

In order to join The Lost Society 2022 for this year’s festival, guests had to claim an NFT membership card that was sent to them via the SeatlabNFT smartphone app. Members of the Lost Society had access to an incredible, three-dimensional audiovisual immersive experience that was concealed within Lost Village. The adventure started at a deserted arcade in Lost Village, where a secret tunnel was made visible behind a broken game console and invited guests within.

We’re excited to bring this innovative technology to the UK’s festival scene and show people that ticketing can be much more than just a form of access control,” . We wanted to demonstrate that the opportunity to connect with fans begins when they buy tickets rather than ends as it does with current marketing and sales channels. Purchasing a ticket can, and should, be the start of a journey towards heightening engagement. This partnership is the first of many we have planned to demonstrate the different aspects of our platform. Alongside helping artists and event organisers regain control of the secondary ticketing market, our priority is improving the experience of attending events for fans. We couldn’t have asked for a better festival than Lost Village as our premier showcase.
