Egyptian producer Seidy teams up with Ukrainian DJ and producer Deva Vicci for the first time on “Wake Up,” released via Termenl Records. The track sits in the space between melodic house and techno, shaped by a structured, progressive approach that focuses on gradual development rather than immediate impact.

The foundation is set early with a filtered rolling bassline and steady percussion. The groove is unhurried, allowing the rhythm section to settle before additional elements enter. Arpeggiated synth lines appear in layers, supported by hats, cymbals, and subtle atmospheric detail. Each element is introduced with space in mind, keeping the arrangement open while still building forward motion.

The breakdown introduces the track’s central vocal line, “I’m falling in love, I wanna wake up with you.” It sits above darker pads and sustained textures that shift the energy without breaking the flow. The vocal is used sparingly, functioning as a focal point rather than a dominant feature, which keeps the production balanced between emotion and club function.

When the drop arrives, the track opens into a fuller arrangement built around a driving kick, rolling bassline, and the main melodic motif. The energy increases without changing the core identity of the record. Instead, the emphasis stays on controlled progression and layering rather than dramatic contrast.

“I started the initial project idea, and we developed the arrangement, melodies, groove, and overall energy together until the track reached its final form,” Seidy says. The production reflects that collaborative process, with each section feeling cohesive and carefully structured rather than assembled in separate parts.

The collaboration began in Dubai, where both artists are based. After meeting through DJ performances and shared events, Seidy and Deva Vicci translated that live chemistry into the studio. Although this is their first official release together, the track feels unified and consistent from start to finish.

Seidy has been steadily building his profile in the melodic electronic space since 2024, with releases including “Strangers” (Gimmick Records), “Slipping Away” (Gimmick Records), “Locked Inside” (Fly Over Records), “Connection” (Redwave Recordings), “Telling Me” (Hypecue Records), “Breaking” (Cafe De Anatolia Records), “Can’t Stop” (Bemind Records), “Stuck In My Head” (Polyptych Noir Records), “Where We Belong” (Of Us Records), and “Love Or Die” (Interplay Records).

His work has also gained global DJ support from artists including Paul van Dyk, Popof, Moonbeam, Silver Panda and others, highlighting his growing presence within the melodic house and techno circuit.

Ukrainian producer Deva Vicci brings her own established background in melodic techno and indie dance, with releases on labels such as Techno and Chill, Lelantus and DEEP WOODS. Her focus on atmosphere and rhythm complements Seidy’s structured and groove-driven production style, which is clearly reflected in the final result.

“Wake Up” is built for DJ sets that favor gradual transitions and sustained energy rather than sharp peaks. It is structured, deliberate, and geared toward extended play.
