Two generations of electronic music talent will collaborate for the first time this March, as Circoloco mainstay Seth Troxler teams up with well-established fabric resident Jaden Thompson on Talking Walls.
Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognizable artists, having carved out his own unique path as a cultural commentator, art curator, restaurateur, and entrepreneur. He has undertaken residencies in talismanic music institutions, established various record labels, and pursued his own solo recording career as a multi-faceted modern artist (including the recent Play In The Dark collaboration with The Martinez Brothers on Crosstown Rebels, and Lumartes that kickstarted CircoLoco Recordings in Summer 2021).
In a short period of time, Jaden Thompson has gone from a potential new name to an established international star. Pete Tong’s favorite artist, he’s no stranger to being at the top of the digital charts, with his most recent single, Only One, receiving over a million digital streams. The rising British artist is now the head of his own record company, Midnight Parade, and 2022 seems set to be a landmark year for him.
‘Talking Walls‘ encapsulates each producer’s signature sound, which is techy and house-driven. The four-four groove maintains its power throughout the tune, with textured layers appearing subtly as the track goes. From glistening keys to eerily danceable synth pulses, a resounding lead vocal transports us to Circoloco and beyond, twisting and turning to leaving us dancing and eager for more.
