Following their release “Call My Name” back on March 16, the Australian electronic duo SHOUSE returns with “Sunrise.” Released via Hell Beach, this marks the duo’s second release of the year.
The single is part of their upcoming album, Collective Ecstasy, set to drop this summer on July 4. Built on a foundation of euphoria, the album promises a fresh direction for the duo—exploring new sonic territory while staying true to their signature sound.
“Sunrise,” with its summery, soothing vocals, blends seamlessly with a progressive deep bassline, layered guitar, and trumpet. Safe to say—it’s going straight into our playlists!
According to the duo, the single was written around 2 a.m. in a rural Victorian shack. “Written in a rural Victorian shack in the still hours, the track centres on a simple guitar, a trumpet, a steady pulse, and a refrain that carries the weight of longing: Take me to the sunrise, baby. I don’t want to be alone.”
