Berlin-based Simina Grigoriu unveils new single ‘Give Me A Voice’, out now on German imprint Rave The Planet.

Simina Grigoriu, one of the circuit’s brightest contemporary stars, is rocketing her way to the top echelons of dance music after launching her 2023 career with a succession of exquisite techno cuts for labels like Dolma Records, Kaligo Records, and her own Kuukou Records. The Berlin-based artist, a steadfast supporter of the development of our favorite genre, now teams up with Felix Kröcher and the nonprofit organization Rave The Planet to produce a fascinating techno smash for their Supporter Series.

The most recent installment in the organization’s history, Rave The Planet: Supporter Series Vol. 014, comes as a two-track EP with Simina Grigoriu’s Give Me A Voice and Felix Kröcher’s Communication. The initiative is devoted to the spirit and culture of electronic dance music and welcomes a variety of artists, ravers, and businesspeople from all sectors to help promote the scene in a healthy and long-lasting way.

Simina Grigoriu, a Romanian-born resident of Berlin who has been making waves with her distinctive brand of sophisticated and uplifting techno for more than a decade, presents the superb ‘Give Me A Voice’. She creates a mood of fuzziness and pleasant reminiscence with lush, electronic synth sparkles on repeat and deep, quiet chords. Simina is one of the most interesting and genuine musicians on the scene as she gets ready to advance once again in 2023. Simina presents a sonic palette that honors the sweet spot between techno’s founding records and its modern sensibilities.
