Sónar 2025 in Barcelona (June 12-15) has confirmed over 50 new artists, bringing the total to 117 performances across 10 stages. The lineup spans diverse genres, with live shows from artists like Pa Salieu, Sega Bodega, Dengue Dengue Dengue, and tributes to Ryuichi Sakamoto by Alva Noto & Fennesz.
DJ sets include Dixon, Actress b2b Skee Mask, and Ultra Naté. The festival showcases a mix of influences from house, techno, experimental, and global music. Notable performances include Nathy Peluso presenting her remix album ‘Club Grasa’ and a collaboration between Matthew Herbert & Momoko Gil.
Sónar by Day will feature acts like Honey Dijon, Overmono, and Maria Arnal, while Sónar by Night includes performances from Peggy Gou, Plastikman, BICEP, and Skrillex b2b Blawan.
Sónar+D, the congress on creative technologies, will focus on AI and its impact on music, with artists like Ville Haimala presenting his solo work and Maria Arnal using AI in her performance.
Sónar also continues collaborations with European festivals like Insomnia and Terraforma and will feature unique artistic residencies, including a live audiovisual show on migration by Saint Abdullah, Eomac & Rebecca Salvadori. The festival also hosts the +RAIN Film Festival and OFFSónar parties.
