Sound Waves, a 21-hour dancing festival with Techno and Underground sounds, has shared its lineup for its festival set on July 8, 2023.

Sound Waves‘ 16th edition will be in Esmoriz Ovar, Portugal, and is scheduled for Saturday, July 8, 2023. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and close at 2:00 p.m. the next day.

After being postponed for two consecutive years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sound Waves returned last year and welcomed 4,000 ravers from around the world. This year, the festival looks forward to again host attendees and performers from around the world in Portugal.

The festival has been based in Portugal since 2005 and will return with a consolidated version while keeping the same taste for Techno/Underground music.

This edition’s headliners include Indira Paganotto, Fatima Hajji, Lilly Palmer, 999999999, Charlie Sparks, Nico Moreno, Cristobal Pesce, and Basswell. Other performers include Karlos Molina, Miss Sheila, Ornella, ØTTA, Carlos Manaça, and DU’ART.

With a renewed venue, visual production, and a setting aimed to surprise attendees, is expected to be the largest festival so far. In the past, the festival has earned two nominations through the Iberian Festival Awards as: “Best Medium Dimension Festival” and “Best Tourism Promotion.”
