American producer and DJ Stefan Rose has released his fifth single, “Closing In,” via San Diego label Music Is 4 Lovers. Released July 31, the track further develops Rose’s blend of melodic depth and club-focused energy.
Rose made his debut in 2025 with the Abyss EP on Dear Deer, which reached No. 3 on Beatport’s overall chart. Since then, he has released on labels including Frequenza and ZEHN Records, while also remixing Timo Maas for Selador. Now based in London, Rose draws from his early connection to house and techno developed while growing up and DJing in Europe.

“Closing In” opens with smooth organic drums, detailed percussion, bouncing basslines, and vocals before building through layered textures, synth accents, and playful drum patterns. Blending house, indie dance, psychedelic touches, and deep percussion, the track moves through slow-burning rhythms with a pronounced swing and an understated club energy.
“My latest release ‘Closing In’ represents another step forward in my artistic journey,” Rose says, describing the track as a hypnotic record designed to work both on the dancefloor and beyond the club.
Rose has also continued to build his live presence, recently performing at London’s Wild Festival alongside Dasha, Patrick Serhal, and Ivan Masa, while also sharing an hour-long DJ set recorded in Skiathos, Greece.
