The nature-influenced TÂCHES revisits the rising Indietronica star Jake’s ‘How Do You Love’ for a psychedelic rework.

Always looking for a new way to express himself, Jakke has set his sights directly on the dance community. Over the last few years, the LA native has dipped his toes into numerous artistic ponds, from visual to musical. Feeling an itch that his Alternative Rock band Enjune couldn’t relieve, he decided to venture into the Electronica world next. ‘How Do You Love’ ended up scratching that itch, producing a mix of sounds and vibes inspired by his influences. In fact, Jakke has described his debut EP as ‘Glass Animals meets Phantogram’, for all you Indie Pop-loving readers.

Having been interested in the dance community for a while, Jakke called upon TÂCHES to revamp his EP a bit. The DJ, who’s known for always going against the stream with his tunes, took the offer and gifted us this. ‘How Do You Love (TÂCHES Big Picture Remix)’ turns the best parts of all the tracks into total atmospheric euphoria. Tribal-esque drums and waves bass grooves flow into the listener’s ear, followed by smooth atmospheric synthwork that gives you shivers. Guitars layered with reverb match the vibe flawlessly, as do Jakke’s almost haunted vocals, adding a sense of sweet melancholy. All elements combined make for a very dreamy type of song, the type of dream one wouldn’t want to end.

Jakke and TÂCHES proved here that they makes a great team and can produce some truly magical music. Hopefully, we see more collaborations from them in the future or at least see who else Jakke calls next.
