It’s been two and a half years in the planning, but the final countdown to Terminal V Festival’s highly awaited comeback has begun.

More than 80 international acts will imprint their musical mark on Terminal V over 22 hours, with 6 exclusive back-to-back sets, 6 live sets and a handful of weekend residents playing twice across both days.

It will be the largest indoor music festival in the UK, but with the addition of a new outside space for Easter 2022, it will be slightly hybrid. With five primary indoor stages running over all of the venue’s massive linked halls, as well as a new large additional outside space encircling the halls with two more enclosed stages and more attractions, the site will be changed like never before.

By popular demand, three of the most iconic stages are returning: Area V, The Terminal, and The Green House, all of which have been redesigned and updated. The Terminal promises the same mind-blowing levels of production as Area V, but with a different stage design. Area V promises an all-encompassing, state-of-the-art arena festival experience, with space for 6,000 on its dancefloor, while The Terminal promises the same mind-blowing levels of production as Area V, but with a different stage design. The Green House is a refreshing change of pace, giving a lighter mood to the festival and hosting the weekend’s housier artists.

Over the weekend, three completely new stages will be unveiled. Cargo, Hangar, The Blackbox. The newly founded Blackbox stage incorporates a low ceiling and atmospheric minimal lighting to create an intimate atmosphere, pulling you away from the big room festival feel. Hangar brings another large main arena stage with an exciting, most unique mind blowing creative design, while the newly founded Hangar stage incorporates a low ceiling and atmospheric minimal lighting to create an intimate atmosphere, pulling you away from the big room festival feel. Cargo, the third newcomer, will enclose festival-goers in an enclosing stage, which will be brought to life by an array of immersive lighting from all angles.

April will also see the return of their The Palms Tent, a 7th stage curated alongside Edinburgh’s Paradise Palms record label especially focused on local talent.

Special back to backs take place on Saturday featuring Marcel Dettmann b2b Stingray 313 on Area V, Alan Fitzpatrick b2b Rebuke on The Terminal and Ben UFO b2b Helena Hauff and Octo Octa b2b Eris Drew on Cargo, and on Sunday on Cargo, Steffi and Virginia.

On Saturday, The Hangar will host world-class live shows from 99999999 and Reinier Zonneveld, while on Sunday, Area V will host Detroit hero Robert Hood, The Hangar will host techno wizard KiNK, and Blackbox will host more live shows from UK acts Planetary Assault Systems and local legend Stephen Brown.

On Saturday, the 6000-person Area V stage will have Amelie Lens, Sven Vath, Dax J, and Helena Hauff, while 3500 people will flock to The Terminal to watch Alan Fitzpatrick, Joyhauser, Deborah de Luca, and T78, and the more intimate Cargo will host Haai, Dr Rubinstein, and Shanti Celeste. The Hangar will sway to the sounds of Kobosil, VTSS, and others, while The Green House will feature Floorplan, Ewan McVicar, Kornél Kovács, Mike Servito, and Luke Solomon, while Blackbox will include Hector Oaks, Frazier, Regal, Alignment, and more.

On Sunday, Nina Kraviz will perform alongside FJAAK, Fraz.ier, Kobosil, and Paula Temple in Area V; Green Velvet, Eats Everything, Solardo, Rebuke, Eli Brown, and Jamie Roy will perform in The Terminal, while Mall Grab, Special Request, Young Marco, and Effy will perform in Cargo. The Hangar features Maceo Plex, Tale Of Us, Mind Against, Tijana T, and Man Power, while The Green House features Chaos in the CBD, Keri Chandler, Cinthie, Prins Thomas, Hammer, Roi Perez, and more, while Blackbox features Perc, Ben Sims, Rolando, Wallis, and IDA.

The stage has been set for 40,000 people from all around Europe to descend on the Scottish capital after more than two years of planning. The anticipation and excitement among ticket holders for Terminal V’s most ambitious event will undoubtedly be tremendous. Do not miss it.
