London-based producer and DJ Renée Thomas, known professionally as TheGoddessMusic, has released her five-track EP Ashe via Roger Sanchez’s Stealth Records. The EP, out Friday, Sept. 5, features Afro-inspired grooves, layered vocals, and collaborations with UK artists STAN BIZZY and Kieron K.
Thomas began producing music at a young age after receiving her first MIDI Yamaha DJX Keyboard and has since studied multiple music courses while learning to play several instruments.
Earlier this year, she released singles including “Ain’t Nobody,” “Feel No Way,” “Show Me Love,” and “Still Young,” with “Feel No Way” and “Show Me Love” appearing on the new EP.
Speaking about the release, Thomas says, “Ashe is very much marking my spiritual growth as well as self-elevation as to who I am creatively and personally.”
