Welsh musician Tudor join forces with New Jersey-based Caroline Byrne for a massive soulful single ‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You’.

Tudor, a Welsh singer, songwriter, and producer with more than 200 million Spotify streams in his discography, collaborated with New Jersey singer and producer Caroline Byrne on ‘Wish I Didn’t Miss You.’ The two of them first met while out partying in London, and they quickly exchanged contact information.

He relocated from cozy Cardiff, Wales to Stockholm to work alongside some of Sweden’s top composers and producers after obtaining the renowned PRS Hitmaker Fund in 2020. His goals are firmly focused on his own project now that he has already released songs with artists like Diplo, Cedric Gervais, Hayden James, LP Giobbi, and Imanu. The upcoming Welsh producer releases promise to be historic thanks to his unique creative and producing skills as well as his moving vocals.

Speaking about the release, Tudor faithfully reconstructs the R&B original’s emotional core while keeping it dance-floor-friendly. Byrne’s assured, ripping voice is the ideal vehicle for Tudor’s cold synth tones, which create a sense of longing and want before the chorus. Tudor turns the material into a deep, melodic house production with ominous bass undercurrents on the drop.

Tudor says,

Angie Stone’s version will forever and always be the true source magic. The idea was to infuse one of my favourite songs of all time with my own tastes in both world & dance music, whilst trying to maintain the spirit and emotion of the original record. We’re both super proud and humbled the original writers gave this version the green light, and now we’re ready for the world to hear it.
