Founders of the U.K.-based record label UV Records, Paul Thomas and Das Pharaoh, have launched a new audio podcast titled Underground Live Forever. The first episode premiered on their official YouTube channel earlier this week, on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The launch marks a special moment for the label and progressive house fans, as this is UV’s first podcast of its kind. The debut three episodes were filmed and recorded during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2025 at Armin van Buuren’s Armada Studios.

Armenian-born producer and DJ Ruben Karapetyan opened the podcast with a 20-minute mini-mix of his own music, followed by a conversation segment. Brooklyn-based artist Mir Omar then delivered another 20-minute set and interview.

Next up was Orlando producer and DJ Blake Jarrell, who originally got his start as an apprentice to Armin van Buuren. He performed a 20-minute mix and spoke about his work with van Buuren and the relaunch of his record label.

To close out the first edition of Underground Live Forever, co-host Das Pharaoh delivered the final mix of the episode.

“We wanted to launch something new within the progressive house community — for DJs, producers, label owners, and anyone in our scene who wants to promote themselves,” says Paul Thomas.

Das Pharaoh adds, “It’s a show powered by our UV and UV Noir labels, and we’re honored to feature some of our artists every week along with other guests providing mixes and interviews.”

Underground Live Forever will premiere on the first Tuesday of every month via UV Records’ YouTube channel and on major streaming platforms.
