Brazilian artist Vicius has released his debut album, I Dream a Dream, via Odissea Records. The 10-track project, running just over 40 minutes, is described as a “retrofuturistic and surrealist universe.”
Vicius made his first official release in 2022, though he had been producing music prior. His catalog includes releases on Steyoyoke, Astral Records, Natura Viva, and on his own imprint, Odissea Records.
Described by the artist as “the most complete and deepest work of my career,” the album includes collaborations with fellow Brazilian artists Zanna and Elisa Audi. It spans ambient, experimental, trance, techno, and electro sounds.
“The album is my attempt to welcome the listener to a journey through my mind, my references, my universe,” the artist says.
