Indonesian producer and DJ Whisnu Santika has joined forces with Rey Putra and Cosmo Kent for their new collaborative single, “I’ll Be Yours.” Released yesterday, December 10, the track has been described as an emotional, narrative-driven piece.
Santika, who began releasing music in 2017 at just 24 years old, has had his work released on labels including Spinnin’ Records and Barong Family. His music has received support from high-profile artists such as Timmy Trumpet and Diplo.
Currently touring extensively, Santika’s December run spans 18 dates. Tonight, he plays W Super Club Gatsu in Jakarta alongside local acts Jameson, Steve Jr, D’ Truck, Alpen, and Joychrist.
Other tour stops include PIK Jakarta, Malang, Palembang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Tangerang, Batam, Medan, and Satrio Jakarta, culminating with a New Year’s Eve countdown at GWK Cultural Park in Bali on December 31.
“I’ll Be Yours” reflects a personal story about a soulmate, exploring themes of love and the inevitability of circumstances beyond one’s control.
