Australian producer Gabriel Cuenca, better known as ZUSO, has dropped a fresh melodic-house track, High Above‘. Teaming up with Melbourne-born and Los Angeles-based vocalist Cleopold, the duo has created a song that perfectly encapsulates the carefree and vibrant essence of summer. The track’s uplifting beats and smooth melodies make it an instant anthem for warm days and breezy nights.

Gabriel revealed that ‘High Above’ had been in the works for over a year as he searched for the perfect voice to bring the song to life. When Cleopold stepped in, the collaboration clicked effortlessly. Within weeks, the track transformed into the euphoric summer hit ZUSO had envisioned, feeling like it was always destined to sound this way. With the Australian summer just around the corner, High Above’ arrives at the perfect time to soundtrack beach days, road trips, and everything in between.

Speaking about the release, Zuso says: “Have been sitting on this one for a while now and am finally happy it’s now out in the world. Has probably been just over a year now since first starting the idea, we went through so many different versions and different sample ideas, but eventually, we decided to get a vocal on it and George and I started working together at the start of the year to get it all wrapped up. His vocal just took the track to another level and super stoked with how it turned out! Perfect song to kick off the summer, hope you enjoy.”

Cleopold adds: “I had fun singing on Zuso’s beat and whipping up an arrangement with him on the phone. The track came together seamlessly and I found it easy to jump on the mic with such a light and textural chord progression. Seems like a no-brainer to release this tune with Zuso in the lead up to Australian summer and as always, I’m excited to work with Sweat It Out / Love Clvb on a new Australian release. Thanks for having me.”
