Multi-platinum duo Tinlicker release a heartbreaking new track and announced a 2024 European tour.

Dutch duo Tinlicker just keeps making pure magic with every track they put out, as they’ve gone multi-gold AND multi-platinum. When approaching the process for their latest single, Jordi and Micha decided to go for a “more organic live sound”. Recently, ‘Slipstream‘, the aforementioned single, dropped and certainly hit the nail on the head in terms of the approach. On top of that, famed South African singer Julia Church lends her vocals to the track, completing the new single. Released on
[PIAS] Électronique, a renowned record label that has made a significant mark in the electronic music industry. Known for its dedication to fostering innovative and boundary-pushing electronic artists, [PIAS] Électronique has consistently delivered a diverse and cutting-edge roster of talent.

‘Slipstream’, upon the first listen, allows itself to enter a rather somber realm, providing numerous examples throughout the song’s entirety. A piano-led intro, starry synths, and percussion reminiscent of rain build the tracks tone and mood, bringing in the sadness. Church lends her vocals, which have a raspy tone to them, giving the impression that Julia’s experiencing some heartbreaking pain. Church’s lyrics further add to the pain and sorrow, as they feel like she’s pleading for her lover’s necessary trust. Overall, tears could end up falling during this song as certain as people could still dance and vibe to it.
